This publication intends to explore the tool of the typographic line (s).

Designers, writers and editorial publications whether it be online or on print will use many

of these specific typographic line (s) for various tasks.

This publication intends to explore the visual narrative of these devices

and the possibilities that they offer.

A statement to the fairly obvious

This is a book

in which I intended to understand the art of

palmistry. To study the line (s) on my hand and the

significance of these line (s) I have decided to get the

help of a local professional.

Dr. Les P Cross practices in tarot, I ching, Chinese numerology and palmistry.

When I contacted him he asked me to meet him at a

local mind body and spirit fair. Twenty pounds later I became

enlightened, confused and sceptical at the same time.

Man on rope

Man on rope was a project inspired by Phillepe Petit and his film Man on wire (2008). I then tried it myself following 10 "simple" guidelines i found off the internet. However i found out it was much more difficult than any guidelines could convey. The animation and set of posters are a documentation of my failure.

The book intended to study the biographical history of Neil Young’s work, in particular 

two albums and two songs from these albums (Heart of gold, Harvest 1972 and Old kane, Harvest moon 1992 ) 

I then exposed the lyric diversity along with the beat structure of the songs to create a whole new song 8 / 4.

DISCOMFORT AND INDICATE RUDENESS.

The plight of a Pigeon

Inspired by a library the book, the plight of a pigeon is essentially a juxtaposition,

inspired by the work of John Smith. The audio is me trying to learn to clay pigeon shoot.

The visual is the (street not clay) pigeons of Bristol.
